Quite some requests were mailed to me by people who are searching, just like me, to tell them how I moved forward and what and how I did things.
Some told me about long waitingtimes, others never got any reply, or not even a confirmation that their mail or letter was received.
So here is a timeline with short notes.
Sometimes my reply is a bit later because of e.g. trips to England or other work.
Starting in september 2026.

Answer "Oorlogsbronnen"

The information online is what is digitalised.
The person said it's strange he is not on the list of Engelandvaarders,
and he wants to look into it.
He received a reply sept 9, with info.
Nationaal Archief
Sept 2 2026
Dad can't be found in the online list of Engelandvaarders, because (a part of) the files of people born after 1920 haven't been digitalised, so not entered in the searchsystem.
He was also not found in other parts of the Dutch National Archives.
So it was suggested to search in the systems of the Ministery of Defence. (Where the same law is applied: publicity on the first working day after the 100th year of his birth.)
Something can be found on Forces War Records after a paywall.
Suggestions to look into the "micro-chip archive (where I found his service number years ago), and the place where one can request service records...and I have them already.
Waarvoor dank.
